The Town of Ajax is soliciting Proposals from qualified Proponents for the deployment of a fully-hosted internet and telephone-based voting platform, and required support and services for the online/telephone voting system for the general municipal election of 2018. The proposed system will further the following goals: ·Enhance the efficiency of the voting process; ·Protect the integrity of the election process; ·Provide for greater access to independence in the voting process for persons with disabilities; · Improve convenience and customer service for electors; and · Uphold Ajax’s commitment to environmentally sustainable practices by eliminating paper ballot waste. Works to commence on or about Fall 2017 , with completion by Wednesday, October 31, 2018
