The Town of Ajax is soliciting Bids from pre-qualified General Contractors for the supply of all labour, equipment, products, fuel and materials necessary to complete washroom upgrades located at Townhall in the Town of Ajax. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: .1 General requirements, mobilization, hoarding, protection of property, etc. .2 Removal and disposal of the existing washroom fixtures, finishes, partition walls and millwork as indicated in these specifications and drawings .3 Supply and install new washroom fixtures and finishes as indicated in these specifications and drawings .4 Supply and install all components to provide a universal accessible washroom as indicated in these specifications and drawings .5 Supply and install new ceramic flooring and wall tiles as indicated in these specifications and drawings .6 Supply and install new millwork as indicated in these specifications and drawings .7 Supply and install new wood door, door operator, light fixtures and washroom accessories as indicated in these specifications and drawings .8 Patch, repair and paint all walls and ceilings affected by the work .9 Repair all adjacent floor areas affected by the work .10 Maintain designated emergency exist egress throughout the course of the work .11 Maintain the designated work area in a clean state and free of any construction related debris. Provide a final clean up to remove all construction related debris upon completion of work .12 Supply and install signage to direct users to alternative routes as necessary throughout the construction period .13 Repair all areas damaged by construction activity; specifically, the Successful Bidder shall repair all damage resulting from the Construction to the satisfaction of the Town of Ajax Contract Administrator .14 The Successful Bidder shall be responsible to ensure that the work site is safe and secured prior to departing The above description is general only and must not be construed as limiting the scope of work.
