The Town of Ajax is soliciting Bids from qualified Contractors to provide all necessary labour, material, equipment, and fuel necessary to provide tree pruning services for trees growing on Town/Region road allowance, for public safety, road safety, vehicle, pedestrian, streetlight clearance, overall tree health and structure. Pruning may be required in the vicinity of overhead live lines. The first stage of work shall commence January 1 to April 1, with the second stage commencing October 1 to December 31 annually for three, one year periods. The Works shall include but is not limited to pruning of trees growing on Town/Region road allowance, for public safety, road safety, vehicle, pedestrian, street light clearance, overall tree health and structure. Pruning may be required in the vicinity of overhead live lines.
